LAMP
is an independent ministry, affiliated with Adventist
Southeast Asia Projects (ASAP) and is dedicated to sharing
the Good News of Jesus Christ with the Laotian people. It is
the purpose of LAMP to shine as a light into the dark corners
of the world and bring the message of hope and salvation to
the Lao people.
Currently,
Laos has a population of 6.7 million, and less then 2% of the
population are Christians. Laos was rated the most un-reached
country in Southeast Asia.
There are also several million Laotians living outside of Laos,
like the United States, Canada, Australia, France, and other
parts of Europe. Because of language and cultural barriers,
using Western methods of witnessing and evangelistic materials
in English is not as effective as using methods and materials
in Laotian.
Do you know any Laotians
in your community? Maybe God is calling you to reach out to your
Lao friends, family, neighbors, or work acquaintances and share
Christ with them.
Feel free to download, use or share any of the audio
recordings, videos,
books,
Bible
lessons, health
materials, and other
printed material on this site. We are continually updating
and adding to the resources in our database. So feel free to frequently
check back with us.
If you are impressed to financially support LAMP please contact
us. Your donation can make it possible
for more resources to be produced and translated in the Lao
language.
